Hi All,
Iam a graduate student and Iam searching for Project Ideas for my
Operating System term project. Can any one please give me some Ideas.

I actually done
1)Process scheduling 1)FCFS 2)Round Robin
2)Page Replacement Algorithm 1)FIFO 2)LRU 3)OPT
in my undergrad as lab works.

But confused what be good for term project level.

What would be good, depends on what you know how to do, what you think you could do well, and what you think your teachers would like to see. There's really nothing concrete we can say beyond that. What's the point of suggesting something that's really easy for you, or that you can't do ?

Perfomance Analysis of Process in Windows and Linux.

If you don't know how to do it, then it's not a good idea. I'm not even sure what this means, will you get two equal PCs and see which tasks, written in C++, are faster on which ? That would be a test of compilers as much as operating systems.
