Why C# doesn't support sealed methods for base classes?

thanks, I find that there is no mean of declaring a base method sealed, cause if we don't use virtual or abstract keyword it is sealed. but in derived class where we used overriding this we can use sealed for restricting further overriden. thanks for reply Abhinav.
