Introduction

Generate IBM Rational 2002 sub Units (Cat file) From .NET Solution

For using this program, run GenerateCatAddinSetup.msi.

  1. This program installs Generate Add-in to your .NET Framework.
  2. Open your solution.
  3. From Menu ->Tools->RationalCat->CreateCatFile4Rational.
  4. Create a cat file: C:\your Solution Name.Cat.

In Rational

  1. Open Rational (2002 or 2003).
  2. From Menu ->File ->Units -Load: Select generated cat file and see that in package Logical View.

or

  1. Open your Rational (2002 or 2003).
  2. Create a Rational Unified Process.
  3. Select a node and create a package like your solution name.
  4. Right click and select ->Units->Control --Package name you created---and save in other path. Warning-> "Not in your Cat file".
  5. Right click and select ->Units->Reload --Package name you created--- and select your cat that you created with add-in, then Right click and select Load a sub.
