If I ever get my electronics lab set up, I may end up getting a couple of those to play with using Arduino and/or Raspberry PI boards.
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?
The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism.
Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

Hell, had I known that parkour were only about jumping on a table, I'd have entered the championship!
It goes without saying that hydraulics are less likely to suffer strain or impact damage than muscles, so I was hoping for more -- even "jumping off" (it falls, really) in another direction would have been impressive enough.
And I'll bet that I'd beat it hands down at dancing on and sleeping under tables.

This is not the 21st century I imagined as a kid!
Ah, I see you have the machine that goes ping. This is my favorite. You see we lease it back from the company we sold it to and that way it comes under the monthly current budget and not the capital account.

We're not that far off though...

Pretty far off I think.. there just doesn't seem to be that spark of inventiveness or thirst to reach some far off goal that there used to be. It's almost like we've got comfortable with what we've got (when was the last time you saw a truly original movie, for example?).
I guess there was a lot of progress in the 20th century, and we can't expect every century to be like that.

Considering that there is still more than 80% of the century to go...

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?

I'm impatient, I want it all now!

I wanted to answer you with a joke about "Queen" and one of their songs, but it was going to be too last century for you...

Quote: when was the last time you saw a truly original movie, for example? Arrival was a fairly original movie.
I thought it was very good, the aliens were scary but didn't want to take over the planet; they didn't blow up the Whitehouse (or anything at all for that matter); they actually did come in peace and wanted our help (in 3,000 years so no pressure really).
It was confirmed good by not winning any Oscars except sound editing (the aliens didn't "bleep or bloop" even once).

I enjoyed it, but the story was quite similar to Close Encounters

Celestine Omin was accustomed to tackling tough engineering problems. Just not the two that the border agent had put in front of his face — or at least not now, after having spent 24 hours cramped in an economy seat on Qatar Airways. Man, those whiteboard tests are getting out of hand

No link?
Is it a test? Do we have to edit the page source?

Odd. I see a link there. Maybe it's some LinkedIn nonsense. I'll switch it over to re/code.
Try it now.

Yeah, I was going to post that a couple of weeks back, but I decided not to. Now that it seems to be a broader event, I figured I couldn't ignore it.
Time to brush up on my CompSci 100 stuff. I might go down there soon.

God bless the US security forces, protecting people from bad code!
Actually, "security forces" sounds a bit harsh: too militaristic and nasty.
Let's use a softer term that suits them better, and shows that they're there to help people.
How about Security Services?
