I wonder how "triggered" today's snowflakes would be if forced to watch that movie and what would offend them the most?

"Nobody move, or..."
Betcha.
They're not snowflakes, though; they're wankers who want to force their way of life on others.
Every political affiliation and religion has plenty of them within their membership; they're just too stupid to realise that not everyone can believe or want exactly the same things that they do.
"Live and let live" is probably the second-best advice that was ever given to anyone by anyone.
* The best advice ever given being "Don't cancel Firefly, you bloody morons!"

Project Zero is the terrifying security research team infamous for three things: discovering the worst vulnerabilities out there, finding a new vulnerability every day, and giving companies only 90 days to find a fix before a full public reveal. Nice internet you have there, shame if something were to happen to it...

It’s remarkable to remember that Unix’s pipe command was implemented in a single day, representing not only a great moment in computing history, but also a uniquely important moment for its profound impact on the culture of Unix. One thing lead to another

Class-action lawsuit filed in California against Capital One... and GitHub??? Why not also sue the company that made the computer used?

Too often, the legal system in most countries proves again and again that they are illiterate when it comes to technology. What a waste of tax-payers money.

Even if it were documented on GitHub, the case won't stand up in court.
Even the least tech-savvy know that no-one reads the documentation.

Can we use our own icons? They seem to think that is very important so I certainly hope I can.

I just Love the way that they've partially restored this functionality for devs (presumably because of incessant complaints from their own devs), but winio and ms office users can still go to Hell, as far as they're concerned (despite incessant complaints from the people who pay to keep their company alive).

In a Visual Studio status meeting...
Participant: "Hey! I have an idea! Let's ignore the real problems in Visual Studio, and spend our time working on sh*t that doesn't actually HELP the developer!"
Guy in charge: "That's f*ckin BRILLIANT!..... Mind!Blown!"
Another participant: "Does this mean the focus is FINALLY off the icon team?"
At this point, everyone felt sorry for the icon team, but were afraid to say anything. Life sure is tough when your entire world exists within a 32-pixel square...

All you need is a web browser and a decent internet connection. You don’t even need to own a copy of the game to have some fun, but it’ll be even more fun if you do. "Fresh meat!"

extremetech said: you don’t have to haul around a computer ... All you need is a web browser Um...
OK.
So how does that work, then?
Are web browsers now so versatile that you can take them out of your computer, and leave the computer at home?extremetech then said: it’ll run on a potato as long as the potato has a modern web browser Ah.
Gotcha.

On July 19th, 2019 Capital One got the red flag that every modern company hopes to avoid - their data had been breached. The Cloud makes everything so convenient

Given her employment history, I wonder if she put the firewall hole in or if she had an insider do it for her. There seems way too much specific knowledge for this to be a drive-by hack.
I'm not trying to let Capital One off the hook, but this raises the issue of how do you protect yourself against disaffected IT employees?
Finally, the mind blowing part is that data affected were from credit card applications. That's 106 million credit card applications!
