The Contract for the Web includes nine principles for a better internet "Fix" as in plumbing, or "fix" as in puppy?
Could he have picked two worse partners? (There are others I'd trust more, but those two? Not as far as I could kick them.)

Microsoft comes to mind.

Well since fArseBook is involved we can categorically rule out the first...
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

A dog hopped in its owner's running car, kicked it in reverse, drove in circles for an hour and smashed a neighbor's mailbox before safely exiting the vehicle without so much as a scratch. Florida man was sad at the prospect of not appearing in a headline

Studies show that human factors most influence the quality of our work. So why do we put so much stake in technical solutions? tl;dr version: Relax, dude
Every use of 'epistemology' outside of a Philosophy 101 class really makes my eyes roll. I'll add that to my defect pile.

So why do we put so much stake in technical solutions?
The point of technical solutions is to remove the human factor. That's why we have processes, procedures, hierarchies, chain of command, code styles, code reviews, so forth.

This is a recursive word. Don't use it again in production!

If you are using older versions of Avast or AVG Antivirus, Microsoft has placed a compatibility hold that will prevent you from upgrading to Windows 10 1903 or Windows 10 1909 until you upgrade to a newer version of the antivirus software. Some people might find this information useful (for non-intended uses)

It's true. I've done it. I hurt other things, too, but I don't think anybody really wants to go there.

So we know Elon Musk believes we're "probably" living in a simulation. He might well be right because the big reveal at the LA Tesla Design Center last night refused to render properly.
