Computer scientist Austin Howard asked Musk on Twitter if we could one day listen to music directly through such an interface — streaming it directly into the brain, in other words, with no headphones needed — Musk replied with a curt “yes.” Who needs headphones when you can just drill holes in your skull with lasers and hardwire it?

What am I missing here? Lots of people seem upset by this so I assume you have forgotten that we already have a ton of gigs of data streaming through our brains currently from cell phones, radio waves, satellite waves, and what not.
All this would do is allow your brain to act as a receiver just like a radio. I don't get the hype nor the hysteria.

I answer you hiere to not hijack the thread above.
I would prefer to keep my brain for "my eyes only" as long as I can. It is cool, and it might have a BIG potential, but if missused it might bring a lot of harm too.
Just look at what is happening with the computers, mobile phones, internet, the OS's, the Apps...

I just discovered this application - OpenSCAD - The Programmers Solid 3D CAD Modeller[^]
It's pretty slick, but the error messages are about as informative as the ones you see in SQL server SSMS.

I watched a video a few days ago where a guy was showing how to use OpenSCAD, looked interesting but I prefer working directly in design editor. I use TurboCAD
I'm not sure how many cookies it makes to be happy, but so far it's not 27.
