While the vast majority of Microsoft employees are still working from home during the ongoing pandemic, the software maker has unveiled “hybrid workplace” guidance internally to allow for far greater flexibility once US offices eventually reopen. Icon designers will have to come in though

A study collaboration between Queen Mary University of London, the University of Cambridge and the Institute for High Pressure Physics in Troitsk has discovered the fastest possible speed of sound. The sound of the mouse click when you realize the cursor was over the delete button, not save

At those pressures, hydrogen becomes a fascinating metallic solid conducting electricity just like copper and is predicted to be a room temperature superconductor.
HeHeHe, they should have tried using Helium atoms.

Quote: Therefore, researchers performed state-of-the-art quantum mechanical calculations to test this prediction and found that the speed of sound in solid atomic hydrogen is close to the theoretical fundamental limit. Aha... I see hear.

YouTube wants to become an e-commerce player with direct sales on video pages. So you can buy the cat in the video?
Are there other videos on YouTube?
|
|
|
|

Wants to?
There are already a big bunch of videos including payed advertisements in the videos and shopping link in the descriptions
Ah, wait... that's it.
The links are still extern shops, and they have seen the potential of mixing Ebay, Amazon and Streaming all in a platform...
I wonder how many users will run away when they start having more adverts than TV

Just found an interesting article at the German news site heise.de:
I could find an English text on that topic, too:
The US Army is prepping a pair of augmented reality goggles for dogs that will allow handlers to issue commands from afar as the canines sniff out bombs.
Currently, when dogs go in search of explosives, they rely on their handlers to give them directions via hand signals, laser pointers, or voice. As such, those handlers need to be near their dogs, which can put the handlers in danger.
A company called Command Sight, however, has developed AR goggles for dogs, which will allow handlers to remain out of sight while giving their dogs commands.
Next come Virtual Smell Producers because dogs prefer their noses when searching for something ...

It accompanies the release of a new report highlighting key areas to focus quantum research. You can either know the position of the government on quantum computing, or the rate of progress?
What can I say? It sounded like a good idea when I started to type it, but I'm obviously done for the week. Toodles!

While the Microsoft Store is a distant 3rd place in mindshare and actual customer usage, the company has the current benefit of not being dragged into court over anti-competitive app store practices like its peers. "With a great big hug and a kiss from me to you, won't you say you love me too?"
