A cryptographic master tool called indistinguishability obfuscation has for years seemed too good to be true. Three researchers have figured out that it can work. "Eschew obfuscation"
Of course, "While the protocol is far from ready to be deployed in real-world applications, from a theoretical standpoint it provides an instant way to build an array of cryptographic tools that were previously out of reach.", so gritty details to follow.

The Federal Trade Commission has announced a settlement with Zoom, after it accused the video calling giant of engaging in “a series of deceptive and unfair practices that undermined the security of its users,” in part by claiming the encryption was stronger than it actually was. It was encrypted-like? Encryptedish? Sarcastically encrypted?

We’re excited to release .NET 5.0 today and for you to start using it. It’s a major release — including C# 9 and F# 5 — with a broad set of new features and compelling improvements. Gentlement (and ladies): Start your downloads!
I wouldn't expect a patch for at least a week now.

The 3.2 release is loaded with features and performance improvements. Most of the release focused on upcoming .NET 5 and all benefits Uno Platform gets from building on top of it. However, we are also releasing improvements to the controls and tooling we introduced in previous releases. All your buzzwords, in one handy install!
Just in time for the .NET 5 release
