Giving you more control over the data that powers them Won't someone save us from all the "smart" features?

Where is the trap?
I don't think they are going to give up "that easy".
One thing (to not call it "revenge") pretty possible I can think of is:
if you opt out, they will show you the crappiest results possible, google adds with insecure javascripts or things like that...
They do know who you are and what you do, whether you like it or not

C#8 added the index ^ and range .. operators. In this post I am attempting to demystify both in the most comprehensive way. For those not invited to play with the deer and/or antelope
Syntactic sugar, ah honey honey

So, C# can do that now. But why? Why would I use that? I fail to see any useful scenario.

GitHub also establishes a $1 million "developer defense fund" to help open source developers fight against abusive DMCA Section 1201 takedown claims. Always amazing what a bit of bad publicity can accomplish
For those wondering, WTE is "youtube-dl"...me too.
OK, it's for downloading YouTube videos, but when you can already access all the cat videos you want, why download?

|
YouTube could solve this by not allowing anyone to see videos.

With nearly 100 studies on the books, scientists can now say with certainty that coffee can help reduce the risk of heart ailments, stroke, and even keep your brain healthy. Is it somewhere between 12 and 20 cups a day?

Over the years I have observed that many engineers tend to attribute much of the success or failure of a company to the technical choices made. May you not live in interesting times

Researchers came across stolen user data in logs stored on a cloud server. It's offline now. I'm still trying to figure out who the victim is here
Besides the people on Facebook, that is.

I don't know who the victim is either, but it is a pretty nice irony example.

To celebrate the release of .NET 5.0, we are happy to announce the release of dotnet-script – with support for .NET 5.0 and C# 9. Putting the C# in the CLI
Or would that be C#LI? (command-line interface, for the non-TLA lovers out there)

Script 1.0.0 for .Net 5.0 and C#9 to be used with Visual Studio 2019 from Version 19.5.x in Windows 10 versions 1809 to 2004...
Could they not unify a bit all those indexes / version numbers?
No mystery that people who are not that involved in tech end mixing everything up and confusing the devs... I am starting to get confused myself
