People change numbers when they get new phones? I've always migrated my number to the new phone so I don't have to change it in a million elephanting places. Had the same number since 1994 or 1995.

It seemed like it was more common back in the pre-SIM days, but people seem to jump carriers a lot these days and get new numbers.

I thought numbers were portable now? Or, are people just that lazy when buying a new phone?
I've also stayed with the same carrier, AT&T. They've had a couple name changes along the way, but ...

Still a plus point... people doing it due to ideology might be way more dangerous.
If you haven't read it, I recommend you "Blackout" by Marc Elsberg.

Next year will be the monochromatic dark theme look.
The following year will revert to the block look, no curves allowed.
The third year the icons will be invisible requiring psychic training.
The fourth year there will be no icons, as AI will know what you want to do.

Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

With completed consumption support, you can now call any Windows APIs (past, present, and future) using the Rust language projection. I thought the vinyl ones didn't have that problem?

A bottle of French wine that orbited the Earth for more than a year has been put up for sale. It's no Romulan Ale, but it might put you in orbit

To pay almost (or maybe over) 1 million to open the bottle and have vinegar...
On the other hand... if the bottle was correctly closed... Do you really think that ingravity will affect something?

Any sediment in the bottle wouldn't sink to the side of the bottle while it was in space. Some wine bottles "travel" poorly, presumably because the shaking mixes the sediment in with the wine, and it takes a while for the sediment to resettle. I expect something similar to happen to this bottle. Otherwise - no, I doubt microgravity will have much of an effect on the wine.
If the person who buys this wine could be persuaded to also buy an earthbound bottle of the same vintage, perhaps the comparison would receive an ig-nobel award next year.

Surprises me they thought nearly 40% would opt in!
As with anything though, I’d be curious what would happen if they swapped the buttons over, as I'm sure 90% of uses just select the first option.
