A Coder Interview With John D. Cook (source: The Code Project) The man behind The Endeavour.

Terrence,
I really enjoy these 'Coder Interview' articles. However the questions are a little mudane and a little repetitive. I would suggest that you guys put a little more variety into the weekly interview. I have been very impressed with some of the mathematical insights of John D. Cook and I actually follow his personal blog. I was really excited when I saw the interview and then disappointmented when I read the content. Unfortunately there is nothing in the interview about his math background. It would be great if the interview questions were less generic.
Best Wishes,
-David Delaune

Overcoming the New Visual Studio UI (source: Telerik) A good Metro implementation focuses on content.
"Personally I love the new UI. Sure, its not perfect, but it is a huge improvement over where Visual Studio has been for the past ten years. But is the new UI really that bad?"

It's not just limited to Visual Studio. We have been talking about this for years. The human factors experts are to blame! HMI's (Human Machine Interface) have been going 'Cool Grey' (as it is often referred) for a while now.
It has even leaked into this forum message from your original post!

Alternatively, don't bother installing this rubbish OS. Seriously, on a desktop, what is the point!

What I do matters. Yours is bull****. (source: Karen McGrane) Making great digital products takes people. Lots of talented people.
"Recognizing the various skills and roles that go into our work is a sign of respect. It is inherently harmful to think you can point at a job title, a profession, a whole class of people, and claim that their work isn’t valid."

If you ever decide to quit, feel free to pass on my resume to Chris. I'm so good at fabricating nonsense developing content that I did so for my own resume.
