True. One of the nice features they have here that LinqPad doesn't is the "Collaborate" feature, for those times when you don't want to (or can't) gather around a monitor.

Has anyone played with it enough to compare it to http://ideone.com/[^]?
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Perfect response, and much more accurate. Of course, there probably isn't enough room on the mug for all the logos needed.

CHRIST! How many times does this have to happen before it sinks in that storing passwords unencrypted/hashed is a REALLY BAD IDEA?!?!
Take the whole lot of programmers who built that site and the PM out back and shoot them all in the head.
Apparently, having that happen dozens of times in the last couple years to other sites wasn't enough for them to say "Hey, maybe we should check our code for this!"

Hell - it wouldn't even need checking the code. A simple inspection of the database / password file would have sufficed.

"More than 1.9 million accounts were protected by 123456. Another 1.2 million used 111111." Hmpf. When a German dating site was hacked, the typical password they found was "ficken". Actually I expected such a password also here. Is the English equivalent with its 4 characters to short?

Ageism might be a taboo topic among employers, but veteran IT pros say it's very much an industry reality. They have pills for that now. Oh, wait, you meant information technology?

a) stop using kiddy languages/scripts
b) choose the appropriate language/environment/toolset for the task (but also see (c))
c) understand you cant design anything more than a toy on a paper napkin - there's documentation, requirements gathering, design/specs & testing for all else

"I want to stress the importance of being young and technical. Young people are just smarter"
My version:
I want to stress the importance of being older, wiser, more experienced and technical. Young people are just stupid"
I am older and I have never experienced ageism or fattism or any other ism except ismism.
I have experienced younger people being complete twats when it comes to what they think they know.
I like working with young people: makes me feel superior.
Why do short, bald, unattractive young people have a chip on their shoulder? Try being old and bald and unattractive...
Just made those up. The whole thing is stupid: I have worked at places that would not hire younger people and others that, plainly, didn't like older people. It's the same in every industry except, of course, if you work at Walmart.

"I want to stress the importance of being young and technical"
I think more important being "Tactical" as one age. After you have ten years around your belt, age start work against you in competing or just keeping your job as now you'd be far more expensive.
Instead of bitching about ageism and discrimation, best be "Tactical", plan ahead before it rains - whether it means saving up for early retirement, pay off your mortgage ahead of time, or start your own gig it's up to you.
Given volatility trusting your firm will continue hire your arse till you're 65 just plain bad retirement planning. HR talks about loyalty and bitch about job hopping- but they will ditch you when they see fits.
"Young People are just smarter"
Young people always think they are smarter. We all were, and some of us still do!
Why argue, you're not going to win!

It is not the age, it's the fact that companies prefer people who would do more(long hours, overwork) for less that it is worth and that is mostly something the younger and less experienced will do. And I won't even start talking about quality, speed and standards.
I'm not saying this is a rule, there lot of people that are under thirties and already carry a lot of knowledge, but there are even more that don't.
