Ah, there it is, thank you.
Still, it seems to be such a waste to have to install all that for ildasm. One may as well just install dotPeek, or this.

Google today announced that the code for Chrome for iOS is now part of its Chromium open source project. Does that mean they're cancelling it soon?

I think you're channeling MS here...

If you were about to start playing a game of online poker, you might want to think again. Humankind has just been beaten at yet another game, this time Heads-Up No-Limit Texas Hold'em poker. This is a milestone moment for artificial intelligence (AI). At least we're still masters of "Go Fish"

This helps demonstrate how *unlikely* it is that there are other intelligent civilizations out there in the galaxy.
Life is known to have existed for about 3 billion years on Earth, but only in the last few million did it become truly intelligent. And then only by chance.

When considering the estimated number of galaxies and Earth-like planets within those galaxies I'd rather take the bet there's an intelligent civilization out there somewhere. More or less intelligent than humans I can't say. Within our galaxy alone it's somewhere in the range of 1-40 billion planets depending on if you count red dwarf stars.
These[^] links[^] give some data and estimated numbers.

Somewhere between 1 planet and 40 billion planets? That's quite a wide error margin.

It's closer to 1 billion if only counting sun-like stars; closer to 40 billion if you count other stars which are not necessarily sun-like but still have goldilocks zones such as red dwarf stars

Einstein already told it: Only two things are infinite... the universe and human stupidity. And about the first one I am not 100% sure

Quote: The programme demonstrated that real progress is possible when content creators, internet innovators and consumer advocates come together in a collaborative and consensus-driven process Ah, that last bit explains it:
"when content creators, [anyone] and [anyone else] come together in a collaborative and consensus-driven process"
People who think they're above everyone else don't come together in collaborative and consensus-driven processes with anyone else.

"fix the bugs that need to be fixed and understand why we're not going to fix some bugs that perhaps ought to be fixed."
I must be getting old. Used to be, the goal was to have no known bugs when we shipped a product. Funny Sad how that's changed over the years. And the "well, software has gotten a lot more complex" is a BS excuse IMO. Programmers have simply gotten lazier.
