I've been in the hospital for the last couple of days, and was wondering if the world had done a self-correct. I see that I had nothing to worry about.

Windows 10 November 2019 Update is now available for users on the most recent versions of Windows 10 who seek the new update via Windows Update. Just in case you want to know why your machine wants to reboot
Seemed to be a pretty nothing update - at least nothing broke (for me)

When are they just gonna give this crap up, and start prompting people to download Ubuntu?

Microsoft will probably deliver critical patches after it ends Windows 7 support in January 2020. But it's not guaranteed, so users and organizations should upgrade to Windows 10 now. Or even with Windows 10

Brandon Fornwalt at healthcare provider Geisinger in Pennsylvania, US and colleagues tasked an AI with examining 1.77 million electrocardiogram (ECG) results from nearly 400,000 people to predict who was at a higher risk of dying within the next year. "Hasta la vista, baby"

If I had the time, and skill to read the paper on this, I want to know some more specifics.
My rough understanding of Machine Learning, is take a bunch of known data (the 1.77 million ECGs and alive/dead info) and train the machine.
Then feed in just the ECG to see if can make a estimation of alive/dead after 1 year?
So many questions.
like what if alive after 1 year and 2 days in the training data?
How long is an ECG. Is a longer ECG provided to the ML then what the doctor views?
Meaning a machine can take the time to review every change of a 60 second ECG, but a doctor is only going to take in a high level flow of the line, unless they algorithm doctors use mentioned is able to help doctors with the miniature changes that at a glance might not see.

Google is unveiling Chrome tools that will help web apps run as quickly as their native counterparts, not to mention make them more usable offline. To some strange new definition of "desktop-like speed" that I'm not aware of
Still, this probably should worry the Electron folk.

i suspect that it means chrome will start secretly downloading client-side code to your system that make part of the google collective.
