Reason 6: No maschine will ever be able to simulate the stupidity of some users, you need another human to even come close to it

My dad (a former PhD physicist mind you) has managed to mess up his computer in spectacular ways. Once it was so spectacular, I tried to reproduce what he'd done; no amount of thinking and trying worked.

Microsoft Corp said on Thursday it aims to remove more carbon from the atmosphere than it emits by 2030 and that by 2050, it hopes to have taken out enough to account for all the direct emissions the company has ever made. Every copy of Windows will have a tiny vacuum cleaner attached
And then the Linux folk who said, "Windows sucks!" will finally be right

For the first time in our Q2 2019 Developer Economics survey, we tried to introduce developers in their own words by asking them about how they see themselves. Reflected in their monitors usually

The responses said: nearly six out of ten developers say they are logical Oh, don't get me started on "logical thinking".

Of course, they'll all have to adopt the British standard, which is far safer than any of the others.

Two separate buds have told me that their choice of laptop was heavily biased by the fact that they have their old laptop's charger from the same company, which can act as a spare/travelling charger.
And I'm not going to admit that I did the same, myself. Nope, I'm really not.
That kind of soft lock-in is worth tens of millions to laptop producers; they ain't gonna give it up easily.

Maybe, but most laptops come with a charger. So don't see how it's a lock-in.

I always have two chargers for my laptops.
That way, I can keep one in the laptop bag, and not have to keep unplugging the one at home.

Back in 2016, Google announced that it was killing Chrome Apps in favor of the web. This process began with that category disappearing from the Web Store in late 2017, and Google now has a final timeline for the deprecation. Chrome-whatnow? They had apps?
It's "peak Google" when they cancel stuff before anyone hears about them.

At Build 2018, Microsoft announced a new revenue split program for app developers on the Microsoft Store. They really meant that there was a 95% chance they'd pay developers
And they rolled a 1.
