Microsoft has consolidated support.office.com and support.microsoft.com into a unified support site to make it easier for you to find support and troubleshooting resources for Microsoft 365. That there will be lots and lots (and lots) of them to come

After 44 years, there’s finally a better way to find approximate solutions to the notoriously difficult traveling salesperson problem. And all those traveling salespeople will be delighted with the result
Finally, they'll be able to reach all their customers and sell them brushes and vacuum cleaners more efficiently.

After an impressive run, the user was revealed to be a bot using OpenAI’s remarkable language model GPT-3. And now we’re looking at every “person” online with an extra level of scepticism. Seems like a pretty standard reaction to being on Reddit for any length of time

I think I heard someone say they were renaming the successor from GPT-4 to K.E.N.T. (Keyboard Emulating Neural Turing) next year.

Microsoft will soon offer different installation experiences when setting up Windows 10 based on how you plan on using the computer. Don't worry - no matter what you check, you'll still get Candy Crush

In other words... they will still need to get more "telemetry" to be able to offer the "best installation experience" specially for you

I just installed Windows 10 on my son's computer. I was going for Consumer, but it installed Enterprise instead, then wouldn't let me create users with a Microsoft Account login without joining a domain, so I had to create a local account, go in and look for where to put in the Consumer license key so he could just use his MS account like a normal person. Sheesh.

Crowdsourcing has drawn a lot of attention as a way of predicting and mapping future coronavirus hotspots based on user-reported symptoms. However, it’s also an increasingly popular approach to software application testing, engineering, and quality assurance. There's a new term for something Microsoft has been doing to us for decades?

As-yet unnamed “NewCo” will handle IBM’s “managed infrastructure services.” I'm guessing they won't go with "I" and "BM"?
"Little Blue" and "Cyan"?

I’ll show you how to build a web application utilizing WebAssembly with .NET, XAML, and C#. You’ll build a simple XAML app with some form controls to collect data and display that data in a ListView. There's a new idea! Write once, run everywhere.
