Still sticking with Lenovo and/or Dell for the foreseeable future though (until I get a lemon from one of them)

Err. Ahrm.. Because HP remains in the market.
They made a 500mhz bandwidth CRO in 1960. That was impressive.
Much of their last 60 years has been a dissapointment however.

Now that Microsoft has released .NET 5, you are probably wondering whether you should start using .NET 5, and perhaps more importantly whether you should migrate existing code to .NET 5. "The problem isn't change, per se, because change is going to happen; the problem, rather, is the inability to cope with change when it comes."

But sometimes, inability could be replaced by "impossiblity", because some things are just out of our hands.

Imagine a world where you move around in your own personal sound bubble. I get that whenever people start talking about "Waterloo"
Or they mention a "midnight train going anywhere"
Apologies to anyone affected.

Oh great, like I really need help with that.
I take an antidepressant as part of migraine prevention therapy. One of the minor side-effects is that if I listen to a piece of music, it will continue playing in my head long after the music stops. It's a temporary aberration in short-term memory and completely harmless, but can be disconcerting.Kent Sharkey wrote: "midnight train going anywhere" How about Georgia[^]?

You need medication to get this side effect? For most people, it happens whether they want it to or not.

I need the medication to keep my head from hurting so badly I want to put a bullet through it just to make it stop. It kind of makes the high-fidelity earworm effect an amusing side note in comparison.

Why does that remind me of the episode from Futurama where Fry was getting commercials in his sleep.
