As long as they don't do as MS and give the possibility to find the older versions where they are still supported... why not? If it helps to make it perform better / have better security in modern hardware I would say yes.

This includes improvements around HTTP, Sockets, networking-related security, and other networking primitives. Sorry, still no Gopher

I wonder how many of those improvements are needed to have (better?) interrelation of Windows with Teams / Skype, Telemetry and / or other MS products ?

Samsung is working on a robot that can pick up laundry, load the dishwasher, set the table, pour wine, and even bring you a drink. Well, that's my needs covered

What about beer? Is that an upgrade?
I’ve given up trying to be calm. However, I am open to feeling slightly less agitated.

Yeah, the twist-offs probably need a special attachment. But at least it should be able to bring it over (you don't want the robot opening your beer anyway - it might spit in it)

In Norway, the robot would have to be eighteen years old for this to be legal.

And you pay how much for something that takes you a few minutes a day and maybe an hour a week (for laundry, though I note it picks it up, not does it)?

Now, if I could only get my knees to believe that.

I didn't say we are young... I said youngster should love it.

One longstanding goal of AI research is to allow robots to meaningfully interact with real-world environments. Oh great - teach them how to open cupboards and drawers. Then they'll be in the liquor cabinet all day.
At least that's how it worked out for me.
