I first noticed that I could hear people, I just couldn't understand them. Got HA's about 12 years ago. Like most, 10 years later than needed.
Still can't understand the grand daughter even though now I can understand her words.

Let's recap. Last time I responded to you, you threw a tantrum. I think it's fair to say you didn't want me to respond to you anymore.
A normal person would have read the subject line, and recognized that there's a long standing bug in CP that puts the replies to a deleted comment on another thread, and then not reported my comment.
A normal person would have noticed that other people were giving affirmative responses to my comment.
That would have given a normal person pause.
