Hi all!
I store my picture in Access 2003 by "OLE Object".
I am coding a ASP page for loading and display those pictures. But I am not know any way which display those pictures in my ASP page.
Please, give me a way. Thanks very much.

Create a page for fetching an image from the database, and use that page as you would an image file:
<img src="FetchImage.asp?id=42">
Use Response.BinaryWrite to output the image data that you fetch from the database.

but I get a error. This error is "The image http://localhost/BSGWebsite/myImageSource.asp?ImageID=3” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors."
I tested and saw The error is happened at "Response.ContentType = "image/jpeg"" line.
I using the "Mozilla FireFox" browser.
Please, advice me. Thanks

Browse to the page instead of showing it like an image, so that you see the error message on the page.

I need some way of detecting a program is installed on a clients computer i can detect which browsers are open and if they have windows media player or quicktime ete but i need to detect just a program thats been installed for example if i had installed a program is there away to detect the folder as been put in the program files folder using javascript? hope ya'll can help

Nope. You can't access any files with javascript. Just imagine how easy it would be to plant a virus if you could.

i mean that, when my web page load, all items will be there except images.Page open slowly,because there are several images(not big size).
i want to send all words,tables,items load to client and then images.

Specify the width and height of all images. Then the browser knows what the size of the images will be, and can show the entire layout of the page correctly before any pictures are loaded.

The drawback is that javascript has to be enabled in order for any images to be loaded.

Karanba,
A scoped variable within a function or like automatically gets identified for garbage collection by the runtime when the function body ends.
Of course for variables defined globally, the Page_Unload should dictate the lifetime of the same.
For Html and ActiveX Objects, of course, nulling would make a better deal.

OracleDataAdapter class takes care of opening and close db connection automatically. If I'm using ref cursors to populate the OracleDataAdapter does it take care of closing the cursors.
