If you have any probs, feel free to post, and I'll see if I can help.

pItem1Ptr->put_innerHTML(L"");
The code above is to change something in the HTML.
It works well in IE6,I can get the gif picture successfully.
But when I run my code in IE7, this code can't work........and I found that, if I replace c:\\float.gif into http://somesite/somepic.gif It can work nice. So I think there maybe something changed in IE7, can anyone tell me how to show my c:\\float.gif picture in IE7????

The client can not view the ASP code, you don't have to do anything to protect the code from the client.

Hi all,
I am facing a problem in ASP project. Can anyone plz help me with validation of an html page. I want to validate the fields on an html page and then submit the details in the database. I am able to add the details to the database. But if any of the field remains empty, then that particular column remains empty in the database. I am also able to display a message on the neext screen, if the user clicks on Submit. I want a message to be popped up at the screen itself.
I urgently need some help...Plz let me know.
Thanks in advance
Regards,
Shraddha

Check out the validator controls that come with ASP.Net. You associate one validator control per field and they do all the magic for you. If you do not use ASP.net, you can use JavaScript.

I am slightly confused as to what you want, Are you saying that you have disabled the back button but want it removed?
Please link me to an example of what you want, provide a better more detailed description of what this is going to be for, or take images of what you want.

Just in case this is what you wanted to stop the user going back this a new option:
try {
history.go(-1);
} catch (e) {}
BUT DON'T USE THAT, IT'S NOT GOOD

If this is a public site and I accessed it I would be pissed and close immediately if you mess with the back button. If it is for a strict business rule that is 100% necessary that is fine otherwise you are going to turn off a lot of potential visitors.

I am no expert in this but i don't think web sites can change browser settings, period. Otherwise that would be a security risk.
But again I am probably wrong, and if I am then... well that would suck

You are not wrong.
I don't understand how people can even begin to think in the direction of changing stuff like that. I get disturbed just by thinking that something like that would be possible...

Reminds me of the many MANY "send me codes urgently to disable a popup blocker so I can show a popup" posts....

Hey friends
(1) What do you use to deploy Asp.Net Applications in ISP? Of course, msi packages are forbidden,
then usually we need separate aspx, ascx, etc, from source files what not can be sent to server.
(2) Too, when you use 3rd components or tools (like FCKEditor) what has a dozen of images and js files,
do you deploy all together in your project files or in a separated procedure?
(3) I know the VS2005 built in deployment tool and Unleash It[^], do have opinions or another suggestions?
