It's an extension used by ASP.NET for HTTP handling (the file doesn't actually exist). I use it with Maverick.Net to implement an MVC architecture. You can see details of Maverick here[^].

Sorry mate, but the green and white menubar is pretty hard to read. The white doesn't contrast too well with the green.
The site is also heavily table dependent - making it hard for a screen reader to use. The font's don't resize - thus failing one of the disability accessibility tests here in the UK. Have you considered registering your site with SiteMorse and running the tests there. I do this for a lot of my clients, and it does pay them dividends with complying with UK legislation (especially as we have clients who are, shall we say, more governmental based).
Don't take this too hard. On the whole, I like the look of the site and it looks like you have a great product to sell. Good luck with it.

And just a small thing, but as you move your mouse over the menu bar (causing dropdown menus to appear), the previous dropdowns take a while to disappear.

Looking at it using Mozilla Firefox 2 it seems fine, dropdown menu appears quickly. There is only a slight delay when you move to the next top menu as the previous drop down still remains for a second. Colours look great.

Just a small one - under the Company tab, you have an item "Refunds"....sends a really negative message IMHO. Since the page is also about a money back guarantee, why not something like "Satisfaction Guarantee"
Probably nothing, just my 2c

I believe the usage of tables and div elements to format your page is going against the current trend of design and is definitely non-standard. For example, td elements should never contain div elements, and the menu bar could be expressed as an unordered list.
You can get some design ideas from:
http://www.alistapart.com/[^]
and
http://www.csszengarden.com/[^]
to get your design near to the standard.

Hi there,
I am new at ajax. I have a simple form of registration in php language. In that there are two fields, username and password. Now when I entered the username, I have to confirm it with the mysql database that it is already exist or not. I have used dojo ajax framework for javascript.
So can I get the value of the database in JavaScript? If yes then how?
Hope for the good reply in a short time,
Thank you in advance.

JavaScript should NEVER directly interact with a database, but you could have it call your PHP code and then that could do the validation.
BTW if you are just starting with AJAX i would not use a framework, rather I would get to know the concept first before letting other people write which script I use.

Well - I'm not sure exactly where this question belongs, but I'll try here first.
I've got a control inside a dll called pRaiseBox.dll - created in VB6. Originally, this control was called by a Win32 VB app using the createobject method. I can also create it in VB script just fine:
'works just fine
dim box
set box = CreateObject("pRaiseBox.cRaiseBox")
dim reason
reason = box.showform()
'works just fine
Now I am trying to use this same control, but I am trying to instantiate it via Javascript:
var TextEntryBox = new ActiveXObject("pRaiseBox.cRaiseBox"); //works
var NoteReason = TextEntryBox.showform(); //box pops up but hangs
but when I show the form, it hangs. By that I mean the control is visible, but if I put the mouse over it, I get nothing but an hourglass and ultimately I have to kill the browser.
I'm not sure of the differences between CreateObject and new ActiveXObject (from what I can tell, there's very little), but can anyone think of any reason this might happen? Perhaps I need to recompile this dll with a different setting in the project?
Thanks!

Hello,
I am really having a struggle updateing an access file on my website.
This site is not hosted by me. I know that it has to happen Server Side, but how can I manage this without using ASP.
Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

What type of access are we talking about here? Are you running IIS or Apache? If you can't answer this please provide your host name and the plan you are on.

It is Apache. The access I am talking about is a .mdb file.
The website is created in php and I want to edit the .mdb file.

Am I getting confused or is that a MS Access file?
If so then Why?
PHP/MySQL is a much better combination for any web development then PHP/Access.
Anyway I will try help you as best I can, although I haven't really touched Access since Win98....

Before I hit the spam button, please confirm that you have just asked people to do a project for you.
If this is the case i would advise you delete that post. This site is not for people who are too lazy to do their own work.
You can always ask for ideas or help in specific subject, but the notion that you intend for someone else to do work for you is very irritating.

Actually, I understood you main point and knew you had a typo in your message. I believe we are here as on-line tutors not a programming factory. Thanks for your comment.
