I have created a mdi form the problem is I am not able to Resize the Form and Align the image(From the BacKground Property)to the center of the MdiForm.But I don't wan't the other forms to be disturbed from displaying from the main menu of the MDI Form

First, I'm going to direct your attention to point number 6 in this[^] post.
Second, if it was that urgent you'd be Googling this 'till your fingers bled. Telling us it "VERY URGENT", statistically, means that you've procrastinated on a hoemwork assignment or class project and now have to write the entire app in 1-2 days. Is this true?

Dave have you ever considered giving up programming and getting into psychology?
not even far from google, but just here you'll find this interesting program
for audio analysis of wav files, and
read the code, you'll see a place where it returns the amplitude of a signal at a certain
frequency (and then draws it)

Sometimes, it absolutely amazes me that so many people have no idea, what-so-ever, how to do any kind of research into a topic, let alone have any kind of clue what it takes to do something with a computer.
Way too many of these questions, now-a-days, are comming acrossed like "Isn't there any kind of a library that will do this for me?".

It may sound like I'm off my rocker, but what would you say to the statement made in this[^] post? Am I the only one who thinks that "the code is correct" statement doesn't quite hold any water, considering there is a problem?
Why should I start my own blog when there's plenty of material around here? How many times do people show up making a statement without asking an actual question? Granted, English isn't their primary language, but I at least have the sense to know when I need a translator or to find a forum or other vehicle that understands my language. Or, and these really make me laugh and weep at the same time, "How do I <something VERY simple>?" and they sign their post with something like "<place name here> - Software Engineer".

What also annoys me is the amount of people so reluctant to upgrade to vb.net or even vb express if they can't afford the actual (or even bother downloading it!). So many businesses and schools ar still hung on this outdated form of developement, everytime i see a post about vb6 i recommend vb express to them. Sometimes i get a negative response, when somehow, i thought i was doing them a favour!

It's not so much the price of VB.NET, but the cost of re-writing the existing code-base. There's still a lot of places still running on VB6 code they wrote 5-10 years ago. Rewriting takes man-hours and they cost money.

I don't know of any examples. Probably because they all involve writing a packet driver that sits in the network stack. This packet driver should expose an interface to pass the traffic to an external application and then get a response back to tell it wether or not to continue passing the traffic up the stack or to discard it.

The ubiquitous chat application. All you have to do is Google for "VB.NET chat" and you'll come up with thousands of examples in the 2,000,000 or so hits you get.

Then this project is WAY over your head. Do some research on network sniffing first. You'll need to write, or find, a packet driver that will allow your code to see all the traffic comming acrossed the machine wire. There is a problem with this though. A switch will not let you see all the traffic on the subnet your machine is connected to. You will only see the traffic directed at your sniffing machine.
Sniffing a network is best left up to the switch itself (if available), where it forwards all the selected traffic to a specific machine on the network.

Please explain the basic difference between string and string builder class.I know one difference is , string builder variable is gets the dynamic memory and string class not.

String builder variable is preferred over string variable, when there is a need to store a larger string and also when you need to create any string value by appending to the same variable.
In such a case, when we consider a string variable, when we reassign any value to a string variable, it allocates NEW memory location along with the new char whatever we appended. hence every time we reassign to a string variable, memory allocations increase and thus affects the performace, where as in case of string builder this is not the case and hence preferred.

I have developed a code but not sets its securities ( permission, permission sets, etc.) so wether it will take default settings or i need to set it myself

If you don't change anything, of course it's going to get the default set of user and machine permissions, dependings on who ran the application and from where the .EXE is stored.
