mySub should call Invalidate() to force a paint event. Although, I see that neither of your other blocks of code is a paint event. What are you trying to do ?

Oh, OK. You can use a scale transform to make everything you draw, bigger. There may also be a DPI setting, but I'm not sure what that would achieve.

You'd be surprise how often a question shows up on the boards that can be answered with "Permission Granted". "Great! You want to do something, now what's the problem?" If you would have asked "what are the steps involved in...", that would have clarified where you were stuck - in your case, step 1.

I think you're referring to a Desktop Toolbar, something like this example[^].

There are several approaches for this. Whenever user installs your application, you check user's internet connection. If he/she is connected to internet, you can check date and time according to user's location via a time zone in web and save this values as encrypted information somewhere under your application's directory. Therefore whenever user runs your application, decrypt this values and calculate remaining date or time.

Another approach is to calculate remaining time not date. Therefore, Whenever user installs the application, record time (HH:MM:SS). Accumulate time and convert it to date (if you want to) each time user runs your application.

Sorry to be teasing you, but as Jonathan said, please do your homework yourself. Now Christian already pointed you in the right direction by advising you what to read up on. Your reply was, that you knew that bit, but don't know how to loop it.

Your original message only stated the assignment your teacher gave you, but you didn't describe any problem. As a matter of principal, everybody here is willing to help you out when you don't know something, but nobody is going to hand you ready made solutions.

In other words, if you want help, ask a question, or post the code you are having trouble with, or describe in a little more detail what it is that you don't know how to do. That way you don't get people like me brushing you off, and more importantly, you don't waste the valuable time of people like Chris, who now gave you advise that you apparently didn't need.

If you know what exactly it is that you need help with (loops), post that, and not only general information, that suggests that you want someone else to do your homework for you.

Now did you figure out a general structure for your app? Are loops the only thing you are having trouble with? Didn't your teacher already teach you all you need to know to do this assignment, i.e. is getting information on how to do certain bits of the app part of the assignment?

OK, what you need to do, is read up on the string class, and the substring method. If you still can't work it out, or even make a start, ask your teacher for help.
