I need to fetch the client login information from the server.THe client information like client login time,logout time AND OTHER login informations.I got it from somewhere that there are log files that carry the member information.Now the problem is where does this log file of member event viewer exists and how to fetch member data from that.

1 - You need to find out where log files are kept for windows server 2003.
2 - Understand the file format.
3 - Write a regular expression to parse the text and fetch required one.
4 - Query SQL database to insert this data

Did you check the Security section of event Log viewer ?
System.Diagnostics.EventLog elog = new System.Diagnostics.EventLog();
elog.Log = "Security";
elog.MachineName = "."; //(.) denoted the local machine
for (int i = 0; elog.Entries.Count > i ; i++)
{
//elog.Entries[i].TimeGenerated ;
//elog.Entries[i].EntryType.ToString();
//elog.Entries[i].Source.ToString();
//elog.Entries[i].Message.ToString();
// Get here all entries from and insert into the Database
}

Hi,
I have a publishing website, and on my right hand of the website I want to display content ads like Google ads and ads from other advertising agencies. I'm not sure how I want to do this yet. Each time when a page is refreshed I want another ad to display (from a different company). I was thinking of adding each agency's ads to a separate user control, each with it's own set of JavaScript, and then have it rotated on each page refresh (display a different user control). How would I do this? Is there a better way of doing this?
Regards

Do you know what Google AdSense is? Ads get displays on your website, all that you do is to place javascript on you page that displays the ad from Google on your page.
For each advertising company there is a different set of javascript tags that pulls the ad from the advertising company. I thought of putting each javascript into it's own user control, does this make more sense. And everytime the page is refreshed a different user control is displayed.
How?

'fraid not.
However, if you need to render out some Javascript, a User control or Server control would be suitable. Use Page.ClientScriptManager to inject Javascript code into the page your control resides in.

Creating that array is totally superflous. It's only thrown away when you assign the result from the Split method to the variable. Just declare the reference:
string[] arInfo;

The string class has a split method - did you look ?
string s="1,3,4,5,6";
string [] nums = s.Split(",");
foreach (string s in nums)
{
int n;
if (int.TryParse(s, out n))
{
// Do something with n.
}
}

this message board discusses the ASP.NET issues
your question has no relation to ASP.NET
you better put such question in C# board

how to create exit button? meaning close the window.

window.close() I guess. That's javascript, of course.

Is there any way to close the window without alerting the user?.

No - the web is not a friendly enough place for browsers to allow that sort of thing.

It has nothing to do with ASP.NET. It's just javascript.
