that's what I'm asking... moreover, the OP question was not even clear enough.
I think I'll have to talk to Chris to track the univoter in this forum...

sorry ? I didn't understand that sentence.
sudhir_Kumar wrote: Why to worry about the rating
because on the forums, voting a post to be an "Unhelpful answer" will cause the OP to wonder if the replies he got are actually really good or not.
If a reply is good, then vote it good if it helped, or if you know strongly it will. If you have some doubts, just don't vote.

I mean you answer is correct even though the question is not clear.

so that's even more weird to get '1' votes when you give correct answers !

"the name of the application"
That's unclear because it's ambiguous.

You can change the dialog caption. Do Rightclick->Properties->General->Caption.
and if you want to chnage the dialog caption dynamically you can call SetWindowText() fucntion with window caption as parameter.

May I know why you down voted me, if your problem is solved by my answer?

I am sorry and thank you for your answer. Actually I got this problem last week and solved it by using WM_LBUTTONDOWN. Actually I want to know why the above mentioned problem happens with WM_LBUTTONUP? Could you please tell me?

How to do it?
Help says use RenderStream() twice:
hr = m_pCapture->RenderStream(&PIN_CATEGORY_PREVIEW, &MEDIATYPE_Video, pSrcFilter, NULL, NULL);
hr = m_pCapture->RenderStream(&PIN_CATEGORY_CAPTURE, &MEDIATYPE_Video, pSrcFilter, pEncoder, pMux);
But the second call to it always fail, so it could be either preview or capture.
