Yes, us unmanaged developers are more productive since we don't waste time with meetings, explaining what we are doing to the project manager, or attending anti-productivity meetings

I use Visual c++ Net 2005
I have in my DataGridView one Column 'quantite'. In this column I need to put only numbers.
How can I format this column sothat I can only capture numbers ?

This kinda goes along with my answer to your previous question.[^]. There is no "DataGridViewMaskedTextBoxCell" available so you will need to get the cell that the user just modified and format/validate the value yourself.

System::Void grid_CellValidating(System::Object^ sender, System::Windows::Forms::DataGridViewCellValidatingEventArgs^ e)

bool bInt = false;
for each (wchar_t ch in e->FormattedValue->ToString()->Trim())
if(!wchar_t::IsDigit(ch))
bInt = true;
if(e-->ColumnIndex==2)//Quantity
{
if(bInt)
;//DO
else
return;
}

for float type variable :
bool bFloat = false;
int i = 0;
for each (wchar_t ch in e->FormattedValue->ToString()->Trim())
{
if(!wchar_t::IsDigit(ch))
{
if(ch=='.' && i == 0)
{
bFloat = false;
i++;
}
else
bFloat = true;
}
}

I am Using Visual c++ NEt 2005
On my form I have a DatagridView1 .
I Use it like a bill,I need, when I fill article code, to fill designation in a second column in the same line.
My problem is How to affect a value to a particular cell ?
To retrieve the content I know: dataGridView1[0,1]->Value->ToString. But To affect a value to a cell I don't know.
I need Help

You need to use the DataGridView.CellEndEdit Event. When the user is done editing the cell this event will fire and provide the cell location that was just edited. The link posted also has some sample code you can study.

I think you're looking in the wrong place. Just create a dll and dynamically link to it.

Is there any guidelines out there for which compiler option is best for Optimization? I have heard the minimizing size is important to reduce page faults but I'm not sure.
Opinions? links? Thanks

Yes on MSDN. However the significance of optimizations can be related to the version of the compiler, the OS, the hardware and more. So you are not likely to find any simple "Do this" answers.
Here is one as an example for VS2003[^]

I will recommend that you don't worry about optimization until you finish your application. Then you should profile your application and check which part(s) of code needs to be tweaked. This way you will save lots of time trying to optimized things which doesn't matter.

Wow - aren't you lost ?
The todolist is not written in Managed C++, and it has it's own forum for questions.

Hai
I am using textchange eventhandler in richtextbox. I just want to know currently what key is pressed by the user. for knowing that is any property is available.
can you tell me.
Thanks
|
|
|
|
|
if you want to get the key that was pressed you should use the KeyPress event. the second parameter (KeyPressEventArgs) you can use to get the keychar that was pressed.
Void richTextBox1_KeyPress(Object^ sender, KeyPressEventArgs^ e) {
char charPressed = (char)e->KeyChar;
}
