Dear All
I am generating reports in MS Word Format from Crystal Report built in Visual Studio 2005. The problem is that I have to change the formatting of the report, once it is exported to word file but the exported word file containing so may frames and due to these frames, I am unable to format the word file.
Please give me some solution to remove frmaes from word file or tell me some settings in the crystal report at the design time to generate report without frames.

How many items are there in ListBox?
Do you have number of pages respective to that items?
Have you tried your self for a single item?
What problem are you getting ?

I have respective pages for each item

I have 4 datatable may be later in runtime it will come more than that...,
Now each datatble having first row and first cell is MID...,
Now i want to check all the datatables first row first cell...,
If its same values, then those datatables have to come in one folder..,
Else it have to create another folder and those datatble have to come in that folder...,
Example like this my datatble is there:
First Datatable
MID Name Year
1 E1 2000
1 E1 2002
Second Datatable:
MID Name Year
1 E2 2001
1 E2 2000
Third datatable:
MID Name Year
3 E3 2000
3 E3 2002
Fourth Datatable:
MID Name Year
4 E4 2001
4 E4 2000
Now see The datatable 1st and 2nd have to come in one folfer...,
Third have to come in one folder
Fourth have to come in one folder
How to do that

Hi,
I want to set serial number in my data grid. I have set paging also. I have created one template column for Sl.No. This following is my client side code. Pls help me. Serial number should start from 1 up to according to the data. On the next page, it should continue. It should not start again from 1.

Is CDATA attribute in your code? if it is then remove it.

Hi all,
i am new to ASP.net and i ma developing a website using C#.
i hve lot of 3 listboxes in default.aspx say course name , students name and sudent total marks.
i will selcct course name in first list box, then the second list box show student name accoding to the course selction.then i hve the option to select student name in the second list box then it will show the total marks obtaind by the student in the third list box and These records are displaying frm an MS Acces DB abd all it works fine.But i hve to add new records in all these list boxes . ie: to DB.Suppose i hve to add a new student name , first i will select the course list box first then student name list box then.the problem arise here.When i add the new record, the record will inserted without any problem.
But the either the list box selction disappears(i hve to select again again for insertion)or the added record didn't appear in the list box eventhoug it added to the DB.i hve tried two ways .
First using the Response .Redirect() .then the first case happens no the second.
i hve tried another way usin Javascript.then the second case happens not the the first. but i need to dispaly the newly added record in the list box immiedialtel aftere inserion and keep the list selection i hve made before inserting...
pls help me..

Hello Friends,
Following is the runtime error that I have come across.
D:\Web up\Default2.aspx: ASP.NET runtime error: Could not load file or assembly 'System.EnterpriseServices, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. (C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Config\web.config line 59)
I am not able to run any of my applications due to this above mentioned runtime error.
Can anyone of you help me to resolve this problem?

Hi,
Check the version of System.EnterpriseServices assembly in the global cache.
You need to add the respective version to the GAC.
If your version of the file is missing then copy it from
"windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0<ur version="" goes="" here="">\System.EnterpriseServices.dll"
to the "windows\assembly\" folder.

Hi,
i am checking the validation for "Name" field, it should accept both character and alphanumeric.
for example:John, John23423 and it should not accept 23John or 1John.
i am using RegularExpressionValidator and ValidationExpression="^[a-zA-Z ]+$".The above validationExpression is valid for character, that is John, Mike not for John23.
Please help me which accepted the John123 format, that First field must be character.

I am using a file upload control in my application where I am inserting and editing the data. In edit mode I am retrieving values from the database and displaying in the respective control. So I want to display my file name I have stored in database in the file upload control. For this pupose which property of the file control should I use?

Do you want to set value in FileUpload control that is retrieved from database?
