I dont think its possible !!!

You cant hide the close button. All you can do is recommend your users use internet explorer in kiosk mode

What is meant by Kiosk mode. How it should be done?

Google Kiosk mode IE and you will find more information
Basically it means the user can't change any of the settings of IE whilst they are using it in Kiosk mode. Loosely translated anyway.

Can anybody explain about the caching and its types. What r the differences among the output caching, fragment caching and application caching. And What abt Data caching. tnx in adv.
Balasubramanian K.
|
|
|
|
|
OutPut caching: It enables you to handle contents of a page for specific duration of time. It enables you to cache multiple versions of page based on query strings etc.
Fragment Caching. It is subpart of Output caching it enables you to cache part of page based on the properties of user control(.ascx)

Thanks for your reply. Do u know the other two cachings (Application and data). Moreover, can u explain me with some more details.
Balasubramanian K.
|
|
|
|
|
Output caching: which caches the dynamic response generated by a request.
Fragment caching: which caches portions of a response generated by a request.
Data caching: which allows developers to programmatically retain arbitrary data across requests.

Tnx. What about Applicaton caching. Data and application both are same?

Dim d As Integer
Dim trow As TableRow = New TableRow()
For d = 0 To 31
Dim tc As TableCell = New TableCell
If myarray(d) = 1 Then
Dim lnkbutton As LinkButton = New LinkButton()
lnkbutton.ID = "lnkbutton"
lnkbutton.Text = "Click Here dear "
lnkbutton.PostBackUrl = ""
AddHandler lnkbutton.Click, AddressOf OnClickLink
tc.Controls.Add(lnkbutton)
Else
tc.BackColor = Color.Yellow
