if you make all pages secured. I mean, allow users to see the pages only after providing the user credentials. If user is not authenticated, show "Access restricted" message.

This is already done.
Web grabber software grab the pages with images and other things.
How to stop them?

You plainly cannot. For me to view a page, you need to send me the HTML. Once I have it, I can save it.

You are talking about software like this[^], which downloads the pages for offline viewing, right?
To prevent images and other file types to be served, you can create a HttpHandler , map the image and other file extensions to ASP.NET engine and tell ASP.NET to process these extensions by the handler you created. In this handler, you can check whether the requested user/program has successfully passed the authentication. If not, prevent the content being send.

Sure. See this[^] MSDN article.

There's really no way to stop people from saving a page, unless you stop them from seeing it. That's what Navaneeth is saying, but even then, if someone has a login, they can save your site. The only thing you can do, is to try to control how many pages someone can view in a given time, so they can't hammer your server to save a lot of pages in a short time.

That's pretty stupid. The site will email any replies to you, putting your email on a forum is just a good way to get on spam lists.
am.net wrote: m using .net framework 1.1.
Wow - why use something that's so old ?
am.net wrote: want to create self extract cabinet in my application.
There's nothing built in. I believe that J# has a zip library you can hook into, but, it doesn't create self extracting zips. You'll need a third party library for that. Not even sure if one exists, but WinZip may accept command line arguments.

You haven't provided enough information for answering this question. Read the forum guidelines or this[^] and explain your problem clearly if you need replies.

I assume this is homework, I can't see how any bank would hire someone who asked this question. Have you spoken to your teachers ? Have you referred to your course material ?
As someone else said, even if we wanted to flat out do your homwork, we couldn't based on what you've said here.

No kidding. Perhaps he could put something in the queue class that automagically puts free money in my bank account (and some into yours too)

What HTML is being passed to the page ? You're saying it doesn't work in IE in W2000, or in IE anywhere pointed to W2000 ?

You're saying it doesn't work in IE in W2000, or in IE anywhere pointed to W2000 ?
I test it to my development machine/local machine which is WinXP, page is totally working, no problem. But when I deploy it to Windows 2000 Server, meaning I copy and paste the folder to the inetpub and create website in IIS. Then accessing the added site, the page is working but the buttons/grids/text/etc are cannot be shown. Even to it's localhost. Still no images.

OK, but what HTML is being served ? If you right click and view source, you can tell if the page has been served or not. It sounds like a deployment issue tho.

Do you not know what HTML is ?
OK, if that's all that's being served, it's like the page is incomplete, which makes me think you should look at the error log on the Win2K machine. If the form and body were closed, then I'd think there was a reason that your script generated an empty page, but this looks like it is dying half way through.

OK - then I don't know why it's not running, I assume it's something in the source code, for example, a datagrid is there and the code is swallowing an exception when it fails to load data.
