SVG was kicking my ass.
So great, I think - I'll incorporate TinyVG support - that's appropriate for embedded right?
It has converters for SVG to TinyVG.
I even notice the canonical SVG tiger head represented among its examples. So I'm thinking "this will work with basic SVG, no problem"
I spent a bunch of time coding the processing for these TinyVG files because the reference implementation is in Zig, which is no good for me.
Finally, I needed to test one, but I wanted to see the TinyVG text format (it mainly has a binary format, but has an equiv text representation which I was going to use to debug)
I grab the canonical tiger head SVG and feed it to the converter tool.
"Unsupported element 'defs'" - which is an element present in almost every SVG i've ever seen.
"Unsupported transform matrix(...)" really? if you don't support transforms, you don't support SVG. All SVGs have transforms in them.
"Unsupported transform translate(...)" again really? see above.
So basically I've implemented support for a dead end technology.
I'm upset that they not only released it on github, but provided a dedicated website, and specifications for it.
Way to waste people's time.
I should have checked first. I should have asked questions.
I submitted an issue on github. I was terse.

... is very strange. But maybe something terrible happened, we don't know about.
Anyway, if the spammers realize this fact, then good night.
@Webmaster@codeproject.com can you please inform us/your community what happen?

No sorry, that is far away from a bridge. Anyone with any sense (spammer or not) can recognize the situation and take advantage of it.

A good question is so much more valuable than a good answer.
As a whole, we humans tend to spend way too much of our lives chasing the right answers to the wrong questions.
A question grounds you - it gives you a place to start exploring. Depending on where it locates you, you can find your way to what you're after or get lost on a self defeating wilderness of bad data and positions.

More practical, not answering what the client asks, but what he means is a very difficult skill, but extremely useful.
A recent example I have:
The client asked for extra confirmation when exiting an old VB6 application, but what he actually wanted is that a background task in said VB6 application keeps running.
He hoped that people wouldn't close the application with an extra confirmation.
Of course the correct solution was to build a service for the background task.
Some people aren't able to form a correct question, like this guy who only knew the VB6 application, but didn't know what a service was (just like the original VB6 programmer, it seems).
Maybe his question should've been: Do you know a way to keep this background task running even when the application is closed?
