No problem. So far I see a few Beta things. Anything in particular you want me to check?

As per this[^] page, if no language attribute is specified with <pre> tag, default colorization will be C++ style. I added <pre lang=cs> to get C# colorization, but I am seeing no difference in the output. Some keywords are also missing to color when using C# coloring. For e.g: yield .

Can you point me to the article you are editing? I can try seeing what's going on.

Its a forum post. See here[^]. You can see yield is not colored.

I've been using the following RSS feed for quick access to C# articles (which is tons better than the default junk that loads on the Visual Studio start page):
http://www.codeproject.com/webservices/articlerss.aspx?cat=3
However it appears to be pulling in questions from the Message Boards now. So is there a new feed for C# articles now? (Or am I going to have to switch back to the default RSS feed for the VS start page? )

Just about to reply to a message in The Lounge and got the normal, except the header looked like this:
Forum: The Lounge
Subject: Oh...my...god...somebody PLEASE convince me I'm not crazy
Sender: Mike Marynowski
Date: Wednesday, August 26, 2009 12:07 AM
on a blue background, a bit like an email header...
Never noticed it before, which must mean either a) I'm unobservant b) I've had a few too many or c) Something's changed...

All normal forums are a single click on the sidebar away from each other. TO get at a private forum needs three clicks (my profile - groups - group name). Going the other direction I need to either use the back button repeatedly, or use the dropdown messageboard menu to reach one of the "important" boards first. Could any that you have access to be integrated into the forum sidebar instead on a per user basis?

How about I give you the option of pinning up to 10 favourite forums to the forum sidebar?

If that's in addition to, not in place of, the standard list; it sounds like a great idea. (as long as my extra fora don't multiply excessively, in which case I'll probably be back begging for the ability to pin more)

That would be good

I've noticed a new chart on member pages, which shows my reputation. I've searched but can't seem to find anything about it. What is it, and how is it determined (number of five-votes, newborns sacrificed, total votes added together, etc)?

Dunno but since soapbox troll Illidiot has about + 1750[^] rep while Maunder only has 260ish[^] I don't know if it's something to be proud of or not...

right now Chris got (or has given himself) a whopping 35000, putting him far on the other side of Illidiot from where you seem to be...

OK, the numbers changed recently.
My preliminary observation says: more is considered better, I haven't seen it drop over time yet, and an approximated formula would be: 1000 * MVPyears + 100 * articles + sum of all votes received.

I just noticed in tiny print "Insider-only Preview" above the graph, and that it's not visible if you're logged out. Since we're both members of the beta test group I think Chris just got a demonstration of why govts have strict rules on marking classified documents to prevent their contents from being inadvertently released. Only using fine print in the middle of the page would not be acceptable.

This stuff isn't the fun stuff. The fun stuff is definitely clearly marked. More info soon.
