Many readers are behind corporate (or otherwise) firewalls. Chinese visitors, for instance, are often grouped behind a single IP address. cheers,

debator rep points are still volatile; two situations occur randomly:
1. the normal one, some debator and some participation points; all looks good;
2. the wrong one, debator is zero, participation is higher (equals the sum of the two normal numbers).
Just reload the same page (and click "reputation tab" again); it occurs on several web servers (16/19/21), FF3.0
BTW: I've seen editor points disappear too, not sure where they went (too small to notice!)

I only read code that is properly formatted, adding PRE tags is the easiest way to obtain that. All Toronto weekends should be extremely wet until we get it automated in regular forums, not just QA.

I had it earlier on web16 but disappeared after a couple ctrl+F5 reloads

Same with my account.Debator keeps on switching.
Sometime no points in Debator and sometime debator points exists and the same number reduced from Participation.

I can confirm it is still doing it and it appears only to be related to Web17
For each category the numbers on my account are;
Web17: 225,1878,12,3,126,1951,0,4195
Web16: 225,1878,12,3,126,320,1631,4195
Web22: 225,1878,12,3,126,320,1631,4195

Is this when a debater bursts into a flame?
Or just into flames? Could AGW be its cause? Opacity, the new Transparency.

I you've posted more recently, you reputation will have lowered, but it should end up higher when the job is done than when the process was started. Assuming you've lots of univotes! Posting this message once, instead of 3 times, was sufficient.
We recalculated reputation based on an enhanced algorithm and you should find you now have a higher reputation score.cheers,

Sorry Chris for posting more than once. Initially i couldn't find appropriate thread. Later i found it was with more people so thought of starting a new thread. (I have deleted the other two.)
Now after update of reputation, it looks like my Participant points are not correct:
As per FAQ:
for participant point calculation:
A new member receives points for signing up: 100
A member receives points for winning a competition: 200
Sign in: i think atleast 200 times i must have done.
==========================
Thus Minimum expected: 500+
Currently: 191
Is there something i am missing?

sign up != sign in
sign up = create account
each account can sign up only once.

Hi Luc,
I meant the same. Sign up == Create account, which will happen once only.
200 that i said was about logging into my account in last 4.5 years.
So:
Creation of account (1 time) = 100
Winning a competition (won 1), thus = 200
Logged in into CP in last 4.5 years (cant say, assuming 200+ times - 1 per day) = 200+
======================================
In total Participation point expected = 500+
Currently it is < 200 (if debator 0 then 191 around, or else 146 aroung)
Hope I was able to clear the doubt i have.
Thanks,
Sandeep.

We've reworked the system a little and I'll rerun the re-population script this weekend to see if we can pick up the missing points. cheers,

Chris,
Issue still persists. My Participant points are 159 only.
One more thing that i noticed today. Looks like not always we get 1 point on logging into our code project account (daily login participation!). I am logging in daily from around last 2 months, but it doesn't look like that my participant points increase proportionately. Though i am not sure. I will track it for few days and confirm if needed.
Can you please look into it.
Thanks.
