Which server is showing the issue? (see the very bottom left of the page for a server name).
I've just checked again on multiple forums and they are obstinately refusing to not work.

if the server name/number were visible near the top of the page, you would have gotten and continue to get it in my every message in sugs&bugs, however I'm not going to scroll to the bottom on every page I browse. Smack in the middle of the top line would be great.

That's fine Luc. I'm not going to add, top and centre, a piece of debug information that is useful to a few out of many millions of users and will be confusing to everyone else. DavidAuld has kindly taken the time to scroll down those pixels and help out.

I can understand you don't want it there permanently for everyone; what you could do is show it to people who are interested (a user setting) or just show it under some circumstances (like CTRL key pressed). How useful it is for you to get detailed sugs&bugs is up to you of course.

Wow. The tetchiness actually came across there Chris. That's not like you.

My apologies. I'm having a bad build day. I should not let my frustrations colour my tone.

If you knew the crap I was fighting my way through trying to restyle Dynamics CRM buttons that Microsoft applies dynamically (but badly), you'd appreciate bad build days. You can tell how long I've been battling this rampant POC by the tone of my postings lately. Gone is the happy carefree Pete - I miss him, his youthful enthusiasm.

this happened to me yesterday but didn't catch the server name... I just assumed there was some sort of site maintainance going on...

If you could keep an eye out it would be much appreciated. I reworked a bunch of code that should help things settle down.

Might be all a bit late, but web24 did it to me a lot around 20 - 24 hours ago (yesterday afternoon EAST). Refresh didn't help, but browsering back to one that had a nav panel did!

Every bit of data helps. It seems Web24 (our 5th server - ignore our numbering) needed a bit of a lie down. I'm hoping the changes we made today have fixed that little annoyance.

When I select Articles -> Latest Articles from the homepage, Tips also appear in the list, they shouldn't.

There's a set of check boxes that allows you to customise what types of articles you see.

Yes but when I click Articles -> Latest Tips/Tricks, it checks the boxes automatically.
Then I should combine the two links to be "Latest Articles and Tips"

I noticed one of my answers has a vote of 1, yet it is not gray. I looked through a few pages on the C# forum and noticed that none of the answers seemed to be gray, even though some of them are red. Is this intentional or a bug?
Messages don't get greyed in the forums where the Good/Bad voting (as opposed to 1 to 5 rating) is used.

Assuming you mean messages with good/bad voting don't get grayed out, then everything is working as it should. Other messages in those forums that use the 1-5 scale seem to be grayable.

I clicked the new thread button but decided not to key/enter anything...so this is what I get for not posting my thoughts of madness. I should have posted my diarrhea infested thought for the day and saved my point spread.
