Yes, that's my opinion too.
To get an overview to what articles an upgrade notification was choosen a summary page could be provided for the user (just like the article bookmarks). It would then be easily possible to cancel a subscription to the upgrade notifications.

Cool idea but perhaps people should have the ability to decide wether or not they want these notifications.

How does one search the message boards here at Code Project? I used to have a little search bar at the top of the forums where I could enter a word to search for, but I can't find it.
Has this feature been taken away? I certainly hope not...

When you post a reply to your own topic in the forums, you get sent a message saying you've replied. Could this be stopped?

Notifications are no longer duplicated. I haven't yet stopped notifications of messages posted to your own articles.

They are still sent every week, every Monday, but we seem to be having some issues with sending mail to Hotmail for some accounts. Some get through, some bounce back. It's really weird. I guess you get what you pay for with Hotmail.

'k, that helps. I've been using Hotmail to avoid clogging other accounts with forum replies, but will look into changing that now.

Hotmail sucks sometimes!!
Some mails from my 'bank' regarding my balance/etc have been missing/deleted by the 'junk mail filter' in hotmail. I had to choose another mail-ID for the bank's correspondence then...

There are some icons, which I don't know what they mean. (Ex: Flashing Icons)

Change your view to "Thread View" in the Lounge or Soapbox. You will see the flashing notepad icon. (left side to the any post's subject)
