Hello,
If this makes it, I am having trouble posting to the lounge.
I think it has to do with the general not being selected.

No I could not post anything on Web 22. Posting this on Web 21.

As seen as other people's have apparently gone down, I thought I should mention that mine went up by about 2000+, in case it was a bug
See if you can crack this: b749f6c269a746243debc6488046e33f So far, no one seems to have cracked this!

It's no bug, it was an Independence Weekend gift from Chris. I'm loving it, I got +20,000 and I've moved [for now] upto #50 in the who's who. Not that I care.

Which is ofc why you're so aware of what the change to your rep and ranking were....
3x12=36
2x12=24
1x12=12
0x12=18

Would it be possible to show/hide the rep display in the top right according to a toggle in the account settings? That could save a lot of the discussions on rep points and would allow those who don't care to hide it.

It's easy enough just to ignore it. It's in a fairly inconspicuous location as it stands.

Okay - we get it. You're over 50K.

I'm not even half that score. Actually, I lost points in this re-calc event. Go figure.

Does it matter?

For points earned for articles and answering questions, Yes.
Also, for others it is interesting to note how the heaveyweights in the top 5 or ten are fairing. I, personally am interested in knowing if anyone gained more than DD (94k).

Suffice it to say that the "heavyweights" are still heavy - some heavier than before, some not quite as heavy.
Current tally:
400+ 1
300+ 3
200+ 7
100+ 23
50+ 55
<50 7,924,530
Since I don't track other people, I don't know how much everyone else gained or lost. I was running my own contest with myself, trying to get my authority score higher than my debator score, and was within 3000 points of doing that, but with the points adjustment, it ain't gonna happen for a LONG time (years) because the separation is about 60K points now. As far as changes for me, I gained about 72,000 points - mostly in the debator category.

You earnt more in one night than I have in my entire life. I think the Lounge Lizards gained most, which is why Sascha has dropped.

Yes I do wonder if they time it to cause maximum amusement to themselves.

You're trying to make it more important than it is.
Sacha doesn't care about his rep points. Nobody but you cares about yours.

No.
I didn't suggest he did.

What would save a lot of discussion would be to remove rep points completely.
Just to start a new discussion...
