I'll add this to the TODO. It requires a fair bit of work to ensure it's efficient without us completely hacking our current infrastructure, but it's a neat idea.

dl, dt, dd tags preview correctly but upon posting yield the error:
You can't create new tags. Please choose from existing.

Where did you observe this? It would sound like a new bug (feature) to me as I've already made use of definition lists in Q&A.
Cheers!
—MRBP.S: This post contains a <dd> tag.

I tried to use it when posting a tip.

I'll head over there and try that on one of mine.

This tip of mine actually uses definition lists with dd and dt tags: Changing the line spacing in a RichTextBox control[^]
So I just added one to the end of the tip to make sure that the editor didn't break lately.
Thus I'm sorry to say that I cannot confirm this bug. Got any more details about what browser with which version showed this behaviour?
Cheers!

That's weird, eh? The preview when I was editing looked just like the dl's in your article. I'm using IE9.0.8.
I'll try again FWIW.

It worked for me this time so either:
- I made a typo (I don't think so, I checked when I got the error)
- The problem occurs when adding, not editing
- Solar flares?

In this question, saving excel sheet data to sql server table.[^]the user has a double backslash \\ in the code.
It screws up the c# formatter for everything that follows, I even changed this to & # 9 2 ; & # 9 2 ; and it still doesn't like it.
Don't know what the correct representation should be to not break the formatter. Maybe a fix required.
Edit: also tried to change the following " to & quot ; but to no avail.......

Getting lazy typing, Dave?
All you had to do was type & to avoid those pesky spaces you put in your post.
\
Now that wasn't too hard, or was it?
Cheers!

Wouldn't that have wrecked the link you included though?

I think he's referring to a link in his article.
OP:This link in the message[^] works, you just need to update your original link in the article.
Excuse me for my improper grammar and typos.
It's because English is my primary language, not my first language.
My first languages are C# and Java.
VB, ASP, JS, PHP and SQL are my second language.
Indonesian came as my third language.
My fourth language? I'm still creating it, I'll let you know when it's done!

sujit0761, if that's the case then you have to go to your article and click "Update your article" in the upper right corner.

I don't think you can attach files on the CP forums.
But it might be usefull for the CP staff to know which server you're on, in the bottom left corner it says WebXY which is the server you're on, e.g. for me it says Web03.
