Probably a spell-checker somewhere along the line as you copy-pasted stuff, automatically fixed it for you. That doesn't really make sense to me because "onclick" is spelled the same way in every language, but it's probably a spell-checker getting in your way.

That issue has been raised before and IIRC it is done on purpose to fight code injection when inserting HTML.
I think Chris is aware of this issue, but I'm not sure if it is on the current agenda.
Cheers,
Manfred

As far as I understand the question, this is something the OP created, nothing to do with CodeProject or Chris. Or do you have some extra information about it?

The umlaut ö gets substituted for the o in onclick when you paste some valid javascript code into the editing text field and then submit your post. So yes this does have something to do with CP. It has been reported and discussed before in the Site Bugs and Suggestions forum.
Cheers!

That makes perfect sense, and is probably where I came across it before.

The function you set on the submit button. Please see the spellings of onclick... Its o is not valid. May be that is the reason.

Dear All,
How we can get my Google API key? Just I've read the FQA of Google, There is telling me create a Google Account. But i have account of Gmail. How I can get? please help.

You must create a Google Account - GMail accounts are not enough. After you create a Google Account, it's still kinda hard to find the page where your API keys are located, so here's a link...
https://code.google.com/apis/console/[^] - Actually that's kinda your home page for Google apps stuff

Hello everyone. I've created a navigation menu at the top of the document which is fixed when scrolling. Everything works fine for me on my computer.
Now I'm considering that not all persons will open the page with displays as wide as mine. I resized the browser window to be smaller to see the effect. I realised that when the window becomes smaller, navigation menus that do not fall within the length of the visible part of the document wraps to the next line which is outside the coloring of the navigation at the top.
I'm looking for a way to force those menus to be shown on a single navigation line so that the user will have to scroll horizontally in order for those menus to be shown.
I have set the width of the navigation to 100% to compensate for wide screens. It's left with how to make them appear on the same line but visible on scrolling on small screens. I want to know how to solve this. Thanks in advance.

PLAY with the CSS - without seeing your whole document, I can't give you a guaranteed way to make it work... but it's a combination of overflow: scroll, and possibly white-space: nowrap. You are going to have to experiment with what tags to place those on - that's what doing CSS is about. If you've already made an attempt, you would know we can't give you the answer to this and make sure it will work.

Hi everyone,
I am like crazy looking for a answer for this issue...
This is my case.
I have a website. Users access my website and then they choose a category. For example: Biology…
what I need? I need this…
When they choose Biology category I need to redirect the user to the next page where they are going to see the video conferencing chat room layout. At the same time when they make the click in the category button, I need to trigger a function that contact the video conference moderator and the other video conference participants so when the user get to the page where he was redirected at the same time the participants and the moderator enters in the video conference and start the interactive video conference.
I need this to happen to every category with the different participants all triggered by the category that the user choose.
I hope I explained myself clearly.
What would i need to achieve this?
Help is urgently needed...
Thanks in advanced

Sounds like you're gonna need to write some code! Your question gives us zero clues as to how to do that. Are you coding in GO, Javascript, Perl? Is there an API already? We need the answers to lots of questions in order to tell you how to start. If you're looking for an off-the-shelf solution, you need to be talking to sales guys, not us.

Thank you Jasmine for taking the time to think about my issue. I am not a programmer like you guys, I just need suggestions of what choices I can explore.
Thanks anyway!

It's pretty unlikely that anyone will know of specific products you can try. If you were coding this from scratch, I could suggest an architecture and tools to use, but that's about as far as we can go.

It's going to be from scratch...
