Hi sorry for the lake of information so i'am talking about visual studio. in my case vs2013.
And when i am trying to add sql server connection on my server explorer (right click )
The "Select or enter data base name " drop down list from Add connection windows property is missing. The only why to the add relevant connection is to modify connection and add a the intial catalog by manual. what should i do in order to avoid set the initial catalog manual on Add Connection windows

The first thing you get asked when "Adding Connection..." is to specify what kind of data source to use. You're telling the system what type of database engine you're connecting to, be Access, ODBC, SQL Server, Oracle, ... and which provider to use to get at it. Once you pick that THEN you get to pick the database server (if applicable) and database name.

Hello,
I want to add an application to windows firewall exception in Standard user without prompting for admin password.
I don't want to store my password of user who have admin privileges and later call it in standard user.
How can I achieve this ?
|
|
|
|
|
AFAIK, you can't.
And if you think about it, that's for good reasons.
If your app could change firewall settings without Admin privileges, then so could any other app - including a lot of nasty ones that would really like to open holes in your firewall as a side effect!
Be glad you can't - or half your system security would disappear overnight...
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

Yes, I got the same answer everywhere. But I got this doubt because of Tally.ERP 9.
I am using Tally.ERP 9 which is installed in Local server ( Requires admin privilege to install). When I access that application remotely in standard user the Tally.ERP 9 gets added to firewall exception in Local PC. (There is no common users in Server PC and Local PC)
How Tally.ERP 9 added without admin privileges ?

Your problem in understanding the firewall settings is likely based on your problem in understanding that mode of access.

You can't. Simple as that.

You'd need to write a shell-extension if you want to hook into the shells' menu. Have you considered searching the articles on this site?

Hi,
I have below code to send email to customers but sometimes it's failing because of slow internet and sometimes it show the please wait splash for long time.
I want to know how can I just send it in the background and keep retrying for x number of times without disturbing the users with Please wait splash or error messages?
email_body = new StringBuilder();
email_body.Append("<html>");
email_body.Append("<body>");
email_body.Append("Please do not reply to this message. Replies to this message are routed to an unmonitored mailbox.");
email_body.Append("<hr>");
email_body.Append("<img src='cid:" + email_logo.ContentId + "' align=baseline border=0>");
email_body.Append("<br><br>");
email_body.Append("Dear " + customer_title + first_name + ",");
email_body.Append("<br><br>");
email_body.Append("We are glad to inform you that your order# " + order_id.ToString() + " has been delivered / picked up at " + MarkAsDeliveredForm.dateDeliveryTime.Time.ToString("HH:mm") + ".");
email_body.Append("<br><br>");
email_body.Append("We appreciate your business and encourage you to reach out to us for all your occasions.");
email_body.Append("<br><br>");
email_body.Append("<center>THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING <a href='http://www.cakeboutiquebh.com' target='_blank' style='text-decoration: none;'>CAKE BOUTIQUE</a></center>");
email_body.Append("<br><br>");
email_body.Append("<img src='cid:" + email_footer.ContentId + "' align=baseline border=0>");
email_body.Append("</body>");
email_body.Append("</html>");
mail_message.Subject = "Your Order# " + order_id.ToString() + " is Delivered";
mail_message.IsBodyHtml = true;
mail_message.Body = email_body.ToString();
smtp_client.Port = 587;
smtp_client.Credentials = new System.Net.NetworkCredential("noreply@mydomain.com", "xxxxxxxxxx");
smtp_client.EnableSsl = true;
smtp_client.Send(mail_message);

suppose i have mvc based web site and when user login then auth cookie is saved in client pc and later the same cookie is used for checking the user validity for subsequent call.
now i have a c# based win form apps which will programmatically login to my mvc based web site and capture form auth cookie from web site for next subsequent call.
i know this is not winform forum. so if possible redirect me to relevant article which show how to programmatically login to mvc web site and save auth cookie in pc for next subsequent call.
also tell me how to send validation token when programmatically login to web site.
thanks

Hello,
How to view and maniplate board component and capacitor physical controllers (voltage, temerators, etc) given board circuits coordinate programitaclly?

Software is unaware of the hardware it runs on. What are you asking?

Hell what are you talking about?
How can we know what you have in mind ?
If I understand what you want, the answer is this kind of magic does not exist.

If you want to control certain physical parameters of a CPU, GPU or RAM then you will have to look for some motherboard-specific driver software with a documented API. Pretty sure there won't be a single one based on .NET so you would have to use P/Invoke or a C++/CLI-wrapper provided that it was your intention to ask for this in the C# forum.
If you want to control physical parameters of other circuit board components by software (since you mention capacitors) then the circuit board would have to be designed for that purpose as well, meaning it would have to have components dedicated to interface with your software and with other components to allow your software to control those other components. So it absolutely isn't possible to do this with an arbitrary circuit board, especially not just by knowing its coordinates..

As Sascha noted, it is essentially impossible in the general case.

The software does not care about the details of the motherboard. All non-standard hardware comes with software that knows how to talk to that hardware, aptly called "drivers".
