Yes
It is

Seeing the effort Chris and Sean put-in to restore your lost tip I would say an apology required...
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

I recognize the effort made by Chris and Sean and I wish to thank them.
But one consideration must be done:
Do they work for codeproject?
if not, then MANY THANKS TO THEM and they deserve mine apologizes not because of the fixing, instead because I did not recognize the effort they made!
if yes they did their job, but it takes one week and many complaints to get the bug fixed, in that case, I believe, apologies should come from codeproject.
(I was silent only because I believe they are codeprojec's workers, and I choose not to be polemic)

It is always a good start for my week to see comments from a low-life...
Both your complains were addressed and handled within less then a day (and that includes a 7 hour time-zone difference), but you still think that statements like 'CODEPROJECT DOES NOT CARE AT ALL' are totally justified...
I hope your boss/customers threat you just like that...
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

Now I think I deserve your apologies!
Maybe this chat is only one day long but this issue is one week and many other chats long!
(Like you, I have my opinion about you too, but I prefer to keep it for me: it is not a nice opinion. Please don't bore me further. Thanks.)

Have you ever considered the possibility that you may be doing something wrong, and that is the reason your work gets lost?
|
|
|
|
|
Are you a codeproject's person?
If yes, May I talk with your line manager, please?

Please take a look at this chain
I have problems with: Kornfeld Eliyahu Peter
as you can see he is not acting correctly.
And I wish to ask codeproject to take the correct measures against him.

Hmm...
You do realize that you have not been charged for access to the site, and that everybody here - baring those marked as "staff" or "admin" - is a volunteer who gives their time freely to help others?
While I appreciate that you are frustrated when it seems to take time to get a problem fixed, SHOUTING AT PEOPLE is generally considered rude, and this is a big, complicated site that takes time to fix, test and release changes. And the first report from you of a problem was solved within 14 hours (not bad, considering that Sean is based in Canada, several time zones from you and me): Bugs and Suggestions[^] while his request for more infor to prevent it happenign again was ignored by you?
Do you feel that you have behaved in a polite, helpful, and considerate manner in this? Because frankly I can't help feeling that people have shown some considerable restraint in responding to you thus far but your attitude has been less than wonderful.
Think about it for a bit and see what you come up with: shouting at volunteers and demanding they leave because you are frustrated with a free service is not the kind of attitude which gets you far in this world. Just a thought.

To fix the issue took one week!
Why you and your colleague repeat that takes 14 hours?
-------------------------------------------------------
While replying to your message I found this from 'Kornfeld Eliyahu Peter'
Can we smash him? Or can we?
I do not think the bunch of his tips will be that much lost for CP...
Do you still think I am wrong!!!

You shouted that you had LOST ALL MY WORK[^] at 05:03 on 4th July 2017, and reported it fixed at 19:59 the same day - LOST ALL MY WORK[^], if I may presume to quote you:
Member 270861 wrote: Perfect Sean
THANKS
you solved the problem. Simple maths gives us 19:59 - 05:03 is under 15 hours

First of all
1) can you show against who, I shouted, please?
2) Yes I wrote «You solved the problem» to Sean but I was Wrong. Sean found the correct version and that means my article was correctly saved (Sean was the only that did his job correctly and silently: THANKS AGAIN SEAN. ops I shouted . But few minutes after I discovered that the problem still remains If I try to edit the the article what I got is a totally different version (this is a bug in the flow of codeproject!)
3) seems to me, all of you are not able to follow the correct flows of events. Some of you see something and other see other things and based on his partial view your conclusion are wrong (sorry)
4) I am waiting for an apologize for this sentence «can we smash him?»

1) Against everybody, with your first post on the subject: Etiquette in technology - Wikipedia[^]
2) If you don't tell people you were wrong, how are they to know? And after your "Great, you fixed it!" message, you didn't say a thing until 19 hours ago.
3) I suggest you reread the event sequence: it's all timestamped and public...
4) You may be waiting a while - that comment wasn't even posted to you, but was a reply to a different member. It may have been a little overkill, but ...
Can I suggest that we all put this down to experience, and move on with our lives?

I'm available for attitude adjustments. All you have to do is pay my air fare, hotel accommodations. The only weapon I'll need is a spoon - I'm sure I can get them locally.
