We have to wait for the next Windows update to see.

Microsoft Q&A, the place to get answers to all your technical questions on Microsoft products and services, was launched on October 30, 2019 as a Preview with support for 11 services. Since then, we have onboarded more services and released key features so you can get your technical answers faster. Time will tell if it's a Major Disaster

Or:
Oh yay! Another MS site where we can get a canned, "You have said you are having problems with X. ... ... ... (a lot of verbiage). Please give us more information... Hopefully this helps you!" Over the course of five paragraphs.
(and then locking the thread.)

David O'Neil wrote: Another MS site where we can get a canned, etc. Ugh, right. I had blocked their previous “support” site from my brain (and blocked it from search), and forgot how frequently useless it was. Outsourcing responses to first-tier folk rarely help.
And gamifying it so the MVPs stay on it doesn’t help much either.

It's not even verbiage, but often outright buttlicking, culminating with absolutely no useful information whatsoever.

The five stages of MS support:
- Run
sfc /scannow and dism /Online /Cleanup-image /RestoreHealth ; - If that doesn't work, here's how to create a new profile, losing all of your work and every service linked to your Microsoft account.
- Didn't work? Time to nuke your computer and rebuild from scratch.
- Still didn't work? We can't reproduce the problem because you didn't provide enough information, despite the step-by-step instructions in your original question.
- Closed as "WontFix".

So they have new craptastic support to replace the old craptastic support?

MS devs following their own tags on Stackoverflow was the only MS support I ever had that didn't suck. I even managed to get them to (eventually) fix a bug/add a missing feature. Of course they have to go and blow it up.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Normally when Microsoft decides an end-of-life date for a product, they really just mean “you shouldn’t be using this anymore, but we understand if you do”. This won’t be the case for Silverlight, which will no longer be downloadable after October 12, 2021. "Well it's all right, even if the sun don't shine Well it's all right, we're going to the end of the line"
I did actually triple-check to confirm this wasn't a couple of years old.

In the quest to make computers ever-more pervasive, and invisible, Google's AI research team has now unveiled a new way to weave technology directly into our garments. The so-called "e-textile" concept could let users control electronic devices through a flick or a twist of their hoodie strings. Or they're just yanking everyone's cord
