Aside from the plethora of scummy privacy practices Facebook uses to track your every move on its myriad platforms, the company’s also come up with plenty of sneaky ways to keep tabs on you off its sites as well. In Soviet Mozilla, browser tracks site tracking you!

Hmmm, tracking the trackers...now there's an untapped market. Or maybe it's already been done.

On Firefox, I have the plug-in Ghostery, which blocks these tracking cookies.

I pretty much only use Firefox for FB. Track away! Well, it does include the FB container module.

With 2021 having come to an end, now is the time to look back at the big events & trends in the world of web scraping, and try to project what will 2022 look like for web scraping. I wish someone would have told me web scraping was uncool. Now I'm uncool.

Recruiters are once again anticipating a challenging year when it comes to hiring tech talent as demand for software developers soars. They said they wan someone who knows at least 3 languages and has at least 5 repositories on GitHub so I wrote and pushed my "hello world" projects in Python, Java, and C#.

Soon to be found as a dependency in NuGet, PIP, and NPM packages!

Without reading the article, given what I see in recruitment and contracting power:
C, C++, some Assembly is always appreciated;
Some microcontroller (Infineon and ST are two good candidates);
SPICE procedure;
A working understanding of basic digital and analog electronics, better if coupled with some mechanical knowledge.

Not sure if that's going to be sustainable in the long term. I wonder how muvh time will it take for a "fight club" to happen.

My theory is that the CEO is trying to juice current quarter numbers to get a bonus prior to a not-yet-announced departure. IOW the decision maker doesn't give an about the pending GDPR fine or the number of users whose rage-pay to get their data back is immediately followed by rage-quitting to a rival.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?
