There's a 'broken article?' link at the top left of all articles that is for reporting broken stuff. In this case, however, it's the site taxonomy that's warped. The fix is in the works.

Duh! I don't know why the link didn't come to mind right off hand.

Hello All!
I have a doubt about how multicast conference works in
RTP.
Imagine a simple audio conference aplication where source A
sends data packets to 224.0.0.1:9000 (the source port
is 9000 too). Participants B and C can listen in port
9000, and send RTCP packets to port 9001.
Everything is clear up to here. But now, if
participant B starts sending audio datagrams, how can
A receive these datagrams, if port 9000 is used by the
transmitter?

This is not really a programming question, I think. What software, or technique, is used to show program animations in the articles?
Thank you

And for that we are all grateful, my poor ISDN line wouldn't like it.

Animated gifs. I have those turned off in my browser, no wonder I haven't seen any animated articles.

It would be nice if there was an "Updated" column in the "My Bookmarks" (and maybe "My Articles") page.

I don't know why your last idea got voted down. It seemed quite sensible to me.
Do you want to know more?

Thanks. The universe is not against me then. Too bad there's no way to tell who voted on what. Hint, hint. Also, any reason why my previous suggestion turned grey?

Well I voted against the idea because I like the current order.

Personally, I hate change too. But laziness is a big change-maker. Dilemmas, dilemmas.

If you did the list in alphabetical order, then Visual Basic would appear before the Visual C++ forum and we don't want to encourage that sort of thing

I liked both your ideas. The reason for the low votes on the previous suggestion may have been that suggestion's "You really need to" as opposed to this one's "It would be nice".

Doh! You're absolutely |right|. I didn't pick up on that even though I've read my original posts every time I've read somebody else's reply. Shame on me for that.

Chris,
You really need to sort <It would be nice if> the forums drop-down list <was sorted> alphanumerically. Makes it easier than reading each one to find the forum of interest.

Let me say one example first. MSN messenger will give a small notification when we recive new mails.
Like wise i would like to recive instant mails through CP to my mailbox. That is if somebody post a new thread on any of my favorite discussion section. Say C# or VC++.
This favorite discussion section must be customizable through My Settings link in CP.
So we can provide instant help to the users. This is not at all new to any discussion board.

When you use <PRE> tags to wrap code blocks in messages, the stylesheet used to display the code removes all blank lines, which in many cases makes the code sample difficult to follow because you lose the "break" between natural logical process sets.
Can we fix this, please? It should only be a minor tweak to one stylesheet entry.
Example below, there should be a blank line before each comment:
int c
c = A + B
return c
Grim (aka Toby) MCDBA, MCSD, MCP+SB
SELECT * FROM user WHERE clue IS NOT NULL
GO
(0 row(s) affected)

Looks fine to me (in FireFox).
If i remember right, this is an IE bug - just do like the rest of us, and throw a space in with each blank line while silently cursing Microsoft.

I experience frequent errors when brwsign CP ("formatted" error page, Error code seems always to be 0)
It always seems to happen when the browser tries to fetch a page with an ad, the final URL is usually http://www.codeproject.com/info/error500.asp?500;http://www.codeproject.com/script/comments/fetchAd.asp or similar
Response times are good to great, occurence is sporadic - it might work half a second later, or it might fail for three clicks.
