Hello Friends,

I have two excel sheet files one is School code School.xls and other is Student Details StudentDetails.xls. In School.xls I put all the school codes and I want these school code in StudentDetails.xls in dropdown list so that I can select particular school code and enter the data. I am not able to get these school codes in StudentDetails.xls. Can anyone help me on this. I am using MS Excel 2003.

This information is helpful. I tried this "Use a different worksheet in a different workbook", point 3 in this article. But after I closed School.xls and try to access StudentDetails.xls school code dropdown list then it is not showing. As per this method I have to open School.xls to see the filled dropdown list.

Can you please tell me this. How can I show data in list without opening School.xls each time?
