create websetup in asp.net

HI frnds....

I finished my project in asp.net and i created a web set up for installation in client machine..
In that i have two problems...
1. i created a users desktop shortcut. so that if i install the setup the a shortcut is creating but while opening the shortcut again the desktop shows..

2. how to configure / run the installated project in my client side...

I need a detailed description or any other link that explain me clearly...

Solution 1

Right click, view properties and check what the shortcut points - it should point to your website.

You are talking about a web page, so if you've got your web page installed properly, you don't need to do anything else. No configuration should be required.
