How to give favIcon in my home page?

all pages work fine with FavIcon but if URL address added '#' symbol then it will not display/Not Work.

Note:
I must use '#' Symbol in my page. its condition so

Adding a '#' to the URL doesn't affect favicon. There is something else wrong with your application.

Solution 1

Add Favicon in the webproject folder and refer icon in the master page.

its ok, but i am using '#' symbol in my particular url page that time didn't display FavIcon.
