problem while running web site

i m running a website which is opening up in IE8, in IE the original page is coming but in the next tab "http://some.url" is opening, this problem only occurs in IE

Check IE settings, if needed reset it

This makes no sense at all. Do you have links that go to this url ? If not, then IE is just opening it, and it's nothing to do with your page.
