If u use S/w That ......
goto Insert Menu, select Summary and select your formula field and put that summary into your Footer for Total

when i right click on my formula field there is no insert option...

my formula is as follows...

numbervar a;
numbervar b;
if (b = 0) then
a:= {OPBALANCE.WEIGHT} + {@txwt}
else

yes but according to ur formula what the value come first in B bcz you use if condition on B. and never stored some database value into B
