Hi All,

I am actually working on bringing the application down when the deployment happens.

I found out my way through having an app_offline.htm page in our applications root directory.

It functionality works fine but m facing below problems.

My site url (eg) is http://webed9966/myapplication - > Users enter this url to access the application.

Now, even when i have placed my app_offline.htm in root, the above url redirects to my home page only.

but if i put in a request saying http://webed9966 only then application is redirected to the app_offline.htm page.

So app_offline is coming only when i am requesting to the server and not application folder

but end users actually access the link http://webed9966/myapplication to access application.

Can i have a way when if even someone places a request of link of http://webed9966/myapplication in browser and then the app_offline.htm page comes in?

Webed9966 is default website in iis...
myappliction is another application under default website in iis

Help needed..!!
